2 meter converter - $40 This small converter was designed to provide an inexpensive way to get on 2 meters. The IF output on the converter is 7 MHz to match the microR2 receiver (or any 40 meter receiver you may have). When used with the microR2, it provides a small low current drain way to receive on 2 meters making it idea for roving or mountain-topping. Performance is good enough it makes an excellent home station receiver also. Conversion gain is 24db. Noise figure is 4 db. Image rejection is more than 45 db, and IF rejection is more than 70 db.
